We had the pleasure of taking some family photos of a beautiful family! The last time we got together for their photos was two years ago. This family doesn’t age… they just keep looking younger. I love their color choice and the fact that they even coordinated the dog. Laura in the purple dress is a very talented interior designer. We learned she makes an awesome product for photographers. We will have more on that later…
We always enjoy photographing weddings at The Japanese Friendship Garden. Probably because Lee and I were married in Japan and the garden reminds us of when we used to live in Japan. The bride and groom of the weddings we’ve photographed at Japanese Friendship Garden always seem to be our most relaxed couples… so calm and serene. Maybe it’s the setting? Anyways, it was no different with Craig and Shannon. They are such a beautiful couple both inside and out. You can tell there is so much love in their family just by the way they interact with each other and the children. It was a beautiful day!
This one below just for fun
Wanted to show you some images from Caleb and Kristen’s wedding. They got posted on facebook but wanted to post them here as well for those in blog land. Caleb and Kristen celebrated a beautiful and intimate wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden and later enjoyed their reception at The Duce. Kristen was one of the calmest and most prepared brides I have ever met… seriously ever! Such a cute pair!

When wer’re not photographing weddings we often photograph events such as dedications, baptisms, events for non-profit organizations such as the Arizona Animal Welfare League and promotional photos for businesses. Here are a couple of my faves from a very special 1st Holy Communion and Dedication. Due to the nature of the event there was no flash photography allowed inside the church. The bottom image is one of my favorite. I love the overall feeling and the smile on the sponsors face as they are both in prayer. It was taken from quite a distance with no flash as there was no flash photography allowed, also in a very low lighting situation. These kinds of candid moments are some of my favorite moments to capture in photography.
